As I said before, my name is Taria Damsin. That's not my real name, but it's my Star Wars fangirl name :) I am a die-hard Ahsoka fangirl, literally die-hard. Over the past few years, I developed what you might call a "slight" obsession to all things Ahsoka, first and foremost, but also all things Clone Wars, Star Wars, and Expanded Universe. I have such a passion for Ahsoka that I hope to replicate Ahsoka's costume in such an accurate way that I will be able to join the Rebel Legion, a Star Wars costuming organization.

I made one version of Ahsoka's new outfit in a few hours for Star Wars weekends that was basically a brown top, leggings, and skirt, and a couple of other items (see Ahsoka in a Day). I met Ashley Eckstein in my mismatched costume, but always in the back of my mind wanted to make a proper costume.

I thought that it would be easy to find a thorough tutorial for a great Ahsoka costume, but I was wrong. I have about 50 hours of research dedicated to this costume and I still find new information and web pages each time I look. My goal with this website is to share everything that I have learned and read with other aspiring Ahsoka cosplayers to save you all the research time that I have gone through!

I will go ahead and tell you: I am not an expert seamstress! I have done a few other Disney cosplays with patterns to help me learn more about sewing, and I've learned so much through trial and error. A seam ripper is my best friend. I tell you all of this so that you know that if I can do it, so can you!

So here is the compilation of all my pictures of my costume in progress that I have so far, tutorials how to make the pieces yourselves, and if you still need help, many of the sources that I have used are listed on my Sources page so that the credit may go to the people who learned before me!

I am still working on my Ahsoka cosplay almost 4 years since I decided to tackle Ahsoka! I have set her aside for quite a while to learn other sewing skills through easier cosplays and patterns. You can read more about those projects on my personal blog, Apprentice of the Chosen One.

Even though my costume and this website are incomplete, I still have much information to share. If you have any questions, any at all PLEASE contact me and I will be absolutely thrilled to help you in any way I can.

I hope this website is a help to you in your own Ahsoka cosplay ventures!

May the Force be with you!
